Birthday Wish #1

This post is part of a birthday wishlist series. This post is about the most unreasonable thing I want for my birthday.

Birthday wish #1 was an easy pick and this post is going to be short.

If I really could have anything for my birthday, I wish Doctor Flash could be around to celebrate my special day with me. This may sound cheesy, but this year is the second year that he and I won’t be spending our birthdays with each other. Birthdays are special days and should be spent with special people, and that boy, well, he’s extra special.

There’s really nothing more to say about that.

This post is part of a birthday wishlist series. This post is the third most unreasonable thing I want for my birthday.

I have invested the most amount of time thinking about this birthday wish. Not that it’s anything particularly important, in which case it would probably cease to be an “unreasonable” birthday wish. Nor is it, to be honest, anything too expensive. To me the only reason this birthday wish is unreasonable is the fact that I don’t need it but want it.

For my birthday, I’d like a bottle of Versace Bright Crystal.

Making the top 3 of my I-want-for-bday-gracias list is something I have, in fact, been wanting since forever. I don’t tell most other people this because it is somewhat embarrassing, but since it’s my birthday…

For my birthday, I would really, really like a nice leather bag.

A woman can never have too many shoes. Okay, she can *scoff* but only if she doesn’t diversify the collection! So, while a woman can have too many espadrilles, a woman cannot have too many shoes in general. :)

For my birthday, I wish I could get new black leather, clomp-clomp boots. I want to apologize for the very small image. This was the only one that looks pretty much like the one I want.

Birthday Wish # 6 and Birthday Wish # 5

I would have made two separate posts for these two, but since they are closely-related, I figured I’d put them in one. I don’t consider myself a photography expert, although I do think of myself as a photography enthusiast. This is why for my next two wishes, I want something for my camera.

Birthday Wish # 6

I would love to have this super cool “stand” for my cameras.

Clampette, where have you been all my life?

What is it? It’s a clampette. Essentially, it enables you to use anything with a horizontal/vertical surface as a stand. That means areas you wouldn’t otherwise prop your camera on a tripod due to, well, sheer ridiculousness of the idea –  say, a fence, a chair or a wall – you would do so with this baby. The clampette works just like a tripod, only it doesn’t have any legs. This is perfect for time-lapse shots, for self-portraits, and pretty much just taking fun shots. :)

We’ve now crossed over to things that actually cost money. (I know, #9 costs money too, but cakes can also be homemade so HA!) To be honest, it’s a little hard for me to think of store bought things that I could want for my birthday, because my family was never the gift-giving sort. Anyway,

For my birthday, I would be really happy if someone gave me a new shiny rock.

Birthday Wish #10

In order to force myself to write, I decided to come up with a topic that I can cover in a series. With my birthday right around the corner, I figure the easiest thing to talk about would be my birthday wishlist. Hence, dear reader, expect updates once every Tuesday and Thursday over the span of 5 weeks on the ten things that I wish to get for my birthday. Also expect that by #5, the wishes become increasingly unreasonable and unlikely. 

The following entry will be the first in the Birthday Wish series.

BIRTHDAY WISH # 10

A nice quiet day at the beach, with lots of sun and not freezing dihydrogen monoxide (H2o).
